Check out this week's inspiration board for clothing for a family photo shoot.  It's finally sweater season!  Pictured below as you can see, with the parents wearing neutral tones it leaves the kids with the freedom to express themselves with patterns, strips or colors of their choosing (as we all know kids have their own opinions!).

Comfort is Key

Headshot photo shoots are no fun unless you make them fun!  That is exactly what this client & I succeeded in last week.  When you are feeling comfortable and yourself that is when you are most beautiful/handsome in front of the camera.  As you can see she was feeling very comfortable!

Hey all!  This is my second ever posting about clothing tips for a family photo shoot, however I am thinking of making it a weekly habit!  What do you think?

With the smell of Fall in the air I decided to go with a combination of the two most popular trends I've seen lately, the return of denim and of course animal print!  I must say, I've never been an animal print person myself...but this might be the year.  We shall see, I will keep you posted :)

Big Brother to Be!

I had the pleasure of photographing this family last week just before they welcomed their new addition. I love this black & white series showing big brother's excitement and love for both baby & Mom!

What a ham?

I absolutely love this recent family portrait!  Big brother's expression is truly epic, he was the life of the shoot, while baby executed his job perfectly by sleeping soundly.
