Engagement Session | Santa Cruz

It was so fun exploring UC Santa Cruz with this soon-to-be married couple!  We didn't let the heavy drizzle that decided to join us slow us one bit.  Can't wait for their May wedding, hopefully these showers will bring the flowers!

Wahoo!!!

Little Explorer

Here are some shots I wanted to share from a really fun shoot I did recently at the Junior Museum & Zoo in Palo Alto.  A great spot for the local kiddos, I know about it now thanks to my clients!

Also, love this portrait!

Don't forget the little details!

Sometimes we just forget to notice the little things.  I love this image that relatable for a lot of parents out there I am sure and how the black & white contrast really emphasizes the shoes & the teeter tot.

What little details have caught your eye lately?

family fun

While it is not always easy getting your four legged friends to pose for a photo...
...it generally is fun...
...and can actually make for some fun candid shots in the process!

I really enjoy the image we got in the end, what do you think?

Good Pizza in California

We have learned that if you want really good pizza in California, you have to make it yourself!  The boys built a temporary wood fired pizza oven and we all reaped the benefits of deliciously yummy pizza.  I think the photo can speak for itself here!

Cotton Candy Sky

This is the beautiful sunset we witnessed on our way home from a fabulous day today exploring the California coast
all the way from Monterey to Santa Cruz.

California Coast

Checked out the coastal town of Half Moon Bay today.  It has some really interesting diversity from sea side ranches to sea side mansions.  I look forward to discovering it further in the coming summer months, maybe take a ride in a sea kayak...
