Newborn Session | Washington, DC

I was fortunate enough to travel to our nation's Capital last week to both meet and capture my newest niece!  She is the epitome of perfection...if I do say so myself ;)  This was my sister's first baby and so we were all very excited and waiting with baited breath for her arrival; which came just on time as anyone who knows my sister and her husband could've guessed!

I am thrilled to introduce to you my newest niece, the very sweet Ingrid!

Thanks to #loveprops for the addition of the adorable headbands that only added to Ingrid's already beautiful self!

I am missing her sweet face already and can't wait until I get to see her again this Summer!

Wardrobe Wednesday

Since I am jetting off this weekend to New York for my Sister's Baby Shower, I thought it only fitting to do a Wardrobe Wednesday in honor of my little niece that I can't wait to meet!  Affectionately nicknamed Dazzle until she makes her worldly debut :)

I was in Baby Gap today doing a little bit of shopping for her and I just love all the great onesies they have right now!  They all have adorable or cheeky sayings on them.  This long sleeve onesie paired with baby jogging and polka dot shoes will make a perfect outfit for her 9 month session!

Christmas in the Park

This was a great holiday shoot in downtown San Jose.  We walked around Christmas in the Park together.  Then when the sun went down headed into the Fairmont Hotel for some warmth and shots with the gingerbread house and life size chocolate nutcrackers!

I absolutely love how the gingerbread house is captured in the background of this portrait.  Really gives you the feeling of Christmas.

Some fun shots from the shoot on Monday - getting in the spooky spirit.  Going up late though thanks to the really spooky lack of power out here in NY, where I am to see family and celebrate an awesome couples nuptials!

Golden Gate Park Play

I just loved this fence at Golden Gate Park!  

It gave such a great textured background to the image that would otherwise not make such a strong impression.
