Wardrobe Wednesday

I have a little boy shoot coming up this weekend, so I thought this was the perfect subject for this week's Wardrobe Wednesday!

How to dress your young boy for a photo session?  Hats are always a fun edition to a shoot.  Guaranteed they will not be on their heads the WHOLE time but they do work as a fun prop, whether they are being thrown in the air or used for hide & seek!  The color scheme for this outfit is also just so fun & bright for the amazing summer like weather we are having right now!

Thanks to I Adore Your Style for the inspiration & all parts of this adorable outfit can be found at Old Navy.

Save The Date

Hello!Lucky custom Save the Date card
This whole wedding thing is starting to feel quite real!  And I am getting excited!  Save The Date cards started going out last week and we have been getting such positive feedback from our friends & family.  Many of whom said this was by far the best Save the Date they have ever seen! It wouldn't have been possible without the wonderful work of Hello!Lucky Stationary.  Eunice & Sabrina have been an absolute blast to work with and I can't wait to start designing our invitations with them!

little details
My favorite detail from the Save The Dates was our personalized stamp from Zazzle and photo by the amazingly talented & fun Mark Davidson!

Some happy Easter kiddies

Every year I looked forward to the Easter egg hunt at my grandparent's house!  We'd get all dressed up, wear our Easter hats and share our Easter basket goodies with cousins, then we'd trample through the yard to see who could find the most eggs!

What is your favorite Easter memory?  Leave your answer in the comments below!

Wardrobe Wednesday

This color combo of grays, blues & pinks makes for a gorgeous family ensemble when taking photos!  I think the little boy vest is my favorite little piece!  You can add or take away from this look in any possible way you can image and it is still going to be a lovely cohesive look.

You can find these looks and so many more at Old Navy & Shop Rouche.  Thanks to I Adore Your Style for this wonderful outfit inspiration!

It's Almost Easter

The last time I dyed Easter eggs I drizzled rubber cement on them before putting them in the dye.  Afterwards, once dry I peeled the rubber cement away and got the awesome eggs above.

This year I felt inspired to go glittery (see below)!  I am in LOVE!  I don't see a reason to ever decorate Easter eggs any other way again!  I am also ready to put glitter on everything, it is dangerous :)  Stay tuned, I may just get more crafty as the week goes on!

Comment to let me know your favorite way to dye eggs!
